The Women4Leadership project aims at raising awareness and breaking social norms by educating young women on dismantling patriarchal stereotypes related to their sexual and reproductive health rights. The project will increase the beneficiary's knowledge in relation to reproductive and sexual health rights as it will be implemented in the form of a series of workshops led by a group of experts with previous advocacy engagement experiences and expertise in women’s rights.
Thus, P4H through its W4L program is proposing a sustainable solution to improve access to SRHR by providing a network and a space for women to become actors of change. By doing this W4L will select 10 to 12 participants to undertake this training that will enable them to become active in their respective communities and in Morocco by making positive changes. To ensure that this program is inclusive and equitable, it will reach out to young women from all regions of Morocco, and all groups and it will not discriminate against anyone.
Goals :
Break stereotypes and cultural norms related to women’s SRHR.
Decrease gender-based violence and advance SRHR and CSE in Morocco at all levels.
Give birth to a supporting network to advocate for the advancement of women’s SRHR hand in hand with several stakeholders.
Eligibility :
Presently living in Morocco.
Be between 18-30 years old.
Identify as an intersectional feminist with a genuine interest in SRHR, GBV, and CSE.
Understand basic English, and/or French, Arabic (Darija) is a plus
Attach a complete application including a resume and cover letter. Applications that do not include any of the two will be automatically disregarded.
Commit to attending 80% of the workshops, writing a blog entry, and implementing a project within their communities in order to be granted a graduation certificate.
Previous leadership experience is desirable but not required.
